Staff Leaving Flow Operation

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Flow, a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC), will be sending home several employees as part of a transformation programme, according to an article published by Barbados Today. Neither the number of staff, nor the terms of their separation were disclosed.

Marilyn Sealy, Flow’s Director of Communications and Stakeholder Management, said the development was part of their business transformation programme.

Caribbean Leads Liberty Global LiLAC In Revenue, $576MM From CWC

Select Highlights from Liberty Global’s LiLAC Q1 2017:

As a percentage of total revenue, 31% came from the Caribbean, while 25, 17, 12 and 8% came from Chile, Panama, Puerto Rico and Bahamas, respectively. The remaining 7% was listed as “Other.”

From a product perspective, B2B represented 27% of total revenue, while 20, 19, 19 and  8% came from Broadband, Mobile, Video and Fixed-line Voice, respectively. The remaining 7% was listed as “Other.”

US-based Liberty Global – parent of CWC (inclusive of Flow and C&W Business) – announced today that they will be releasing their first quarter 2017 results on Sunday, May 7.

Investor calls will be held on Monday, May 8 from 9:30 AM (EDT) starting with results from Liberty Group followed by LiLAC (Liberty Latin America and Caribbean) at 10:30 AM (EDT).
